Thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, the English Department is hosting a poetry workshop with Nathan McClain as part of the Welcome Read program. Students will learn about the craft of poetry as Nathan shares insights into his newest collection PREVIOUSLY OWNED, which first-semester students are reading in composition courses.
Nathan McClain is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing and African American Literary Arts at Hampshire College and serves as poetry editor of the Massachusetts Review.
