Danielle B. Izzo has been working at Queenborough Community College since 2005 advising students in the ASAP Program and facilitating reading an writing workshops for the Basic Skills department. She earned her Bachelor's degree Magna cum Laude from the Honor's Program at St. John's University. In the summer of 2008, she completed Naropa University's Summer Writing Program focusing on the post-modern beat and feminist-aesthetic. Danielle was awarded, as a member of the Golden Key Honor Society, her Master's degree in English Literature from Queens College with her culminating project focusing on Jacques Lacan's interpretation of the feminine. She has been published in various literary journals and is working on her first book of poetry entitled Idol Banter.
