Associate Professor of Sociology and Criminal Justice Trevor Milton has worked with at-risk populations for two decades. His research and interests span prison reform, adolescent criminal behavior, urban ethnography, and class and racial identity. The author of Overcoming the Magnetism of Street Life: Crime-Engaged Youth and the Programs That Transform Them and co-author of The Con Men: Hustling in New York City, Dr. Milton (also a podcaster) is producing Modern Racism, a documentary which explores America's efforts to repair damage caused by institutional racism.
